If your **Poly Savi 8210 wireless headset** isn’t connecting to the **D400 USB dongle**, it may just need to be manually paired or updated. This is a common issue when the dongle is replaced or not originally paired with the headset.

### Basic Troubleshooting Steps:

1. **Ensure the headset is fully charged**
Place it in the charging base for at least 30 minutes before troubleshooting.
2. **Check the D400 dongle’s LED**

     - **Solid red** means it’s powered but not paired
     - **Solid blue or green** means a successful connection
3. **Manually pair the headset and dongle**

     - Remove the headset from the base
     - Press and hold the **Call Control** or **Volume Up** button for 4 seconds
     - Look for **red/blue** or **red/green flashing LEDs**, indicating pairing mode
     - Wait for the dongle LED to turn **solid blue/green**
4. **Restart and replug if needed**

     - Try different USB ports
     - Restart the headset by holding the power button for 10 seconds
5. **Update firmware using Poly Lens or Plantronics Hub**
